Complete newbie

Postby Smiler68 » 24 Nov 2017, 15:36

Hi everyone.

Having decided with zero experience, to make a sliding drawer under the stairs for about a million shoes, I thought I better start reading up on what to do. I’ve been watching numerous how to videos on YouTube and have to say I’m getting the bug.

I look forward to finishing this task and having a go at others.

Regards

Jerry.

Hi Jerry and welcome to the Haven. We like pics around here so don't forget to post some up of your understairs drawers ( you will need 3 posts before you can add images, but that wont take long ;)
I do not think therefore I do not am.

I thought so, RogerS made some understairs storage a year or so back. This WIP might be of help.

Thanks for posting that link, Andy. Bloody Hell...was it only a year ago that I did that? Are you sure the forum clock isn't a year out ?

Thanks for the welcome folks.

Not sure I want to post any pictures of my work. Might not be up to scratch.

Jerry, don't be shy about posting images. Cock ups and all. We can all learn something from each other.

Hi from another newbie...

Don't be afraid of making mistakes ( or 'features' as I describe them), we all do them, it's all part of the learning process. Pictures are good, it's amazing how much you can learn from looking alone.

All the best at what you are doing, as I found it gets addictive ( and it's better than decorating).

I have just posted details of my blog earlier in this post, but it's here if you want to look:
