Greetings from Johannesburg

Postby danger paws » 06 Jul 2015, 15:58

Hello All,

I have been lurking and looking for a while after being pointed in this direction by Mike G, yes sorry another customer from down south.

I am originally from wales but currently living in Johannesburg. Wooden kayaks is what got me interested in carpentry a long time ago. I have built and sold a few and have started to make furniture as my skills have improved.

Also built my own workshop two years ago, this site has led to me change a few things in that workshop and pointed me in the right direction when i have been having problems on other projects.

I decided its time to join so that i can ask a few questions when needs be.

Pictures of the workshop and kayaks will follow when i have worked out that side of things.

Cheers for now

Welcome Ian,
Look forward to seeing some project photos seen. If you need help with image posting just shout and someone will try and ease you through it.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

Thanks for all the welcome messages.

'Danger Paws' is my dogs nick name Rob, he is quite big with poor eye sight so he tends to bump into things and generally re arrange the furniture at will.

I've had a quick look but how do i post pictures ?

The best way to post photos is to host them externally (Photobucket, Imgur etc), and just paste the URL into the text box. I'm not sure, but there may be a minimum number of posts (3, maybe?) before you can do that......just to make sure you aren't an automated spam generator :)
