Hi, I've only just found this place but I am half way through building/bodging a workshop at the bottom of my garden. I'm a complete newb with no plans or anything just a vision in my head lol. I've got this far looking at images on line and watching a few YouTube videos. I have had to solve a few issues, (silly but not costly mistakes), along the way though and I'm sure there will be more! I'm in no doubt it's Not upto your standards here but i have had fun and I built it. So far it's taken me 4 months of sporadic but enthusiastic weekends and spare hours here and there but my main enemy has been the weather and budget!
I can't post photos yet but I will update when I can.
Matt

Welcome Matt, we are working at hosting images within the forum. Should be ready soon.
I do not think therefore I do not am.
cheers

Hi Matt , welcome :-)
what's the weather like in Newb ?
yes, there is a way to use flickr photos on forums .. it has always seemed different to me every time I tried .. but that was a while ago .. it might be improved now ..
basically .. you need the image share link from flikr and insert it between the [img] comments

Welcome! If what you are doing is fun, or gives you pleasure, then the end result is less important than the journey I would say. We all see the imperfections in our own work - others may not!

Yes, that's what I think!
The process is just as fun as the end result imo.
I have made it hard for myself though without any form of plans to follow. I have probably spent 80% of the build time just scratching my head!! Lol

Hi and welcome.
There are more and more experienced workshop builders here these days, so ask away, and you'll get plenty of help.

I suggest starting a thread in the Workshop Build sub-forum.

Hi Matt and welcome
My own shop is taking shape now after only 18 months of building and nearly 3 years since gaining planning permission...
Cheers

No you don't need to do that, Richard. There is the option for BBCode and you just cut and paste. No img tags needed.
Welcome, Matt.
