Hey newbie to wood work

Postby CATNAP » 30 Aug 2017, 16:25

Hey

I'm a newbie to working with wood and spend most of my working life at a computer. We have decided to build a wooden garage in the garden ( with my carpenter fiends help) . I'm now at the insulation and ventilation stages of the build and found this form for a little help.

Hello mate and welcome

You are in good company with a few of us here being big geeks during the day and wood manglers during the quiet hours.

Cheers

Hi Catnap,

Welcome. I think you'll find that there are more than a few experienced computer users on this forum. My computer experience is used to model my 'shop in Sketchup.

But wood is good to work with, as well, as you're finding.

Welcome to the Woodhaven. Don't be shy. Show us some of what you have done already. There are plenty of experts here on all sorts of subjects who will give advice and encouragement freely.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers
