Hi from me, Ian, just joined, my interest in woodworking started with building theatre sets, so if it looks good enough 20 feet away, its great!

Branching out into shelves and storage in the home, so I really like the Kreg pocket hole system, and doweling.

Welcome Felix,

I spent happy days at school and uni doing theatre stuff such as stage set and sound effects, helping on lighting etc but that was in 60/70s and not taken it up again since.

You should find a wide range of skills here to help you with projects and remember there is no such thing as a daft question.

Me, too. Macbeth, 1965, Greenford County Grammar School and the next 3 years.

Some of us make guitars ... a bit! But Like he said above, there's a wealth of positive encouragement and knowledge on this forum.
