Hello from UK

Postby JWood » 16 Oct 2018, 13:18

I am a loner, I learn by watching YT videos and reading, but I like watching videos since it's easier for me to understand.

I'm at a newbie level, still learning and I want to get to a point where this will be my livelihood so that I can follow my passion and get out of the 9-5 job working for other people.

Glad to be here!

Welcome to the wood haven2
Once you have made two more posts the annoying moderation delay will go away and you will be able to post photos.
We like photos here and are very happy to offer help and assistance.
Do tell us what types of woodwork you are into.

HI JW,

Don't worry about Roger, he used to be a southern softie until a year or so ago when he moved oop north

When you get a moment, if you reply to this thread with the first half of your postcode, Andy will drop a pin on the members map. The idea being that members can see who is nearby and maybe can get together or even help each other with projects. It is purely voluntary. :D

Up to you but you can also edit your profile and add a bit more info under the User Control Panel link on the left hand side of the top of the page.

You can see the map from the link top right of each page. The dropbox also has a miscellany of useful info contributed by members.

Any questions do fire away and someone will be along to help.
