Hello everyone

Postby 9fingers » 21 Jul 2014, 20:29

Well after lots of work by other people, it is good to be posting in thewoodhaven2.
I'm a self taught machine based woodworker very much in the style of Norm Abrams of New Yankee Workshop fame.
My other interest is in electric induction motors especially running three phase motors from single phase supplies.

Cheers
Bob

Hey Doug

Good to see you here. Hope you're well. I keep a lurking brief on UKW still but very rarely post any more so still see you active over there too.

So busy on UKW now I can't keep up with anything. Thoroughly enjoying Steve Maskery's workshop build though. Well, I say workshop, more like a small aircraft hangar!!!

Cheers

Hi Mark,

Good to see you got this place up & running.

Steve's workshop is coming on well, just wish I wasn't so busy & could get over more to his place, it certainly will be a good sized shop.

Hey, Bob:

Was it you that gave me the head's up? If so, thanks. If not, well, accept my thanks for the other guy.

I hope this post goes out this time. I was just typing it on my other machine when all of a sudden the keyboard locked up and nothing would work except the mouse, and even with that the buttons wouldn't work. I had to do a hard reset. And now my internet is working at about 300 baud on that machine. Not a harbinger of the future for this forum, I hope.

Yes it was me but I'm banned from UKW as 9fingers and rejoined there as Myfordman.

I tried hard to get banned, but it didn't happen! How did you do it Rob? On second thoughts... Maybe it's best I work out new strategy...
