Murrican here

Postby fiveeyes » 23 Feb 2015, 02:04

Having already shot my mouth off, I will 'officially' make an intro. Retired truck driver, who makes sawdust and kindling. Woody stuff only in the winter, good weather is for fishing and travel. Been sneaking around the forum for while, also the first 'Haven'. Mostly here to enjoy seeing what British woodworkers do, and I am very impressed. Enough rambling.. 5

Yes, thanks for the welcome. As to where-SW Michigan. Fishing is my main hobby, and fishing for walleyes. A very close cousin to zander, of which you may be familiar. A legal limit is five, hence fiveeyes. Pictures eh? Made a box for the wife for Valentines Day. I shall snap a few and figure out how to post them. Patience please. Currently I am making six copies for gifts and will try to get a few snaps in progress. Again, thanks

Don't worry, Five, they treat us fine. Just remember a jointer is a planer, a planer is a thicknesser, and don't ask about ring mains unless you have a beer in your hand and five more in the cooler.:)
