West

It's great epoxy, but I've got a tin of the hardener in it with the spring loaded dispenser. I've left in on a shelf and quite a lot of the goo has leaked out the spout because of capillary action...hell of a mess to try and clear up. Strangely, the big tin with the dispenser is OK. I've managed to recover most of the hardener and have now removed the dispenser and stored the whole lot in a couple of plastic bags.
Weird or what? - Rob

it's a special property of epoxy. I had tubes of araldite in a drawer with the caps screwed on tight - one of them managed to leak and leave a gooey mess.

I use starloc epoxy resin quite a lot, I like their bottles as they have a push on cap which I wedge between shelves in the storage cupboard, this prevents any unwanted escape.

The child proof top of the West's hardener defeated me . I had to hack the thing off and store separately
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers
