Hey, Mr Stevie B - cracking job chap! I could not have done better myself. Your dining room looks very classy.

Looks good until you put on the finish, then it looks great! That really pops the colour out. Lovely.

Thanks

Steve,

What an excellent job you've done. I've been following your thread and it was well worth the wait to see the end result.

Gee thanks chaps - much appreciated. The only downside is that SWMBO likes it so much she wants the hall done the same way  I did get enough from e-bay to do this, but halfway through the dining room vowed not to do the hall.... but what SWMBO wants SWMBO usually gets! Not in any hurry to do this however and a number of pressing outside jobs while the weather is good means this will wait until winter at least while I try and change her mind

That's annoying as you could have run it all the way through the doorway if you'd have known, which would have looked great.

Fortunately the hall and dining room are not directly connected - both lead to the kitchen first, so that at least is not a major problem.

Sorry Steve I have to agree with your missus. A job as good as that needs to be repeated as often as possible.
I do not think therefore I do not am.
