you would think so ...

If it's over 25mm thick when packed, then it's often cheaper to use a bigger box !

We send out quite a lot of post.
300x225x225 boxes are cheaper to buy than 150x150x150.
the post cost is the same ... so we buy/use the larger box ..

although we do snip the corners and fold them down !

but, again, that's time .. and that's money !
