I don’t normally do this as it is extremely difficult to identify timbers from photos but I started to investigate some of the chunks of wood I’d “unearthed” in my compost bin.
They came from trees cut down from my neighbourhood.

I'd go for that as well, nice stuff to use; just don't put the seeds on your museli :D - Rob

Not just the seeds. All parts are poisonous.
