One of those Days

And a lucky escape.
I was using my WoodRat to cut some housings and had to use one of their cutters which are very long. This meant I had to remove my Xtreme Xtension and use the normal collet:

Stupidly I hadn’t tightened it properly and WHAM loud bang with the cutter flying off somewhere luckily missing my head!!
Collecting myself and with another cutter I carried on

But in my haste to get the parts glued up I forgot to drill the hinge holes in the centre dividers!
I have an angle attachment but my smallest Jacobs Chuck was too big:

But then I remembered these babies:

PS cleaning up later I found that the cutter had dropped down vertically into the Rat’s innards.
But again very lucky and other reminder how easy these things can happen.
The Xtreme Xtender is back in use.
