This video is a long watch and I found it difficult not to let my mind wander with the teacher speaking in English with a heavy French accent to the Estonian students.
But it was worth it to see the building frame go up at the end of the video.
The teaching focuses on the ancient technique of scribing. You'll get the hang of it eventually, but I'll have to watch it a couple of more times before I really get it.
Just to whet your appetite, this is a C&P from the YT details.
The main key before scribing irregular (hewn or twisted) timbers is to mark the vertical and horizontal centers by level on the both end of the log and snap the lines - as all the scribing is done using the center lines (axis) instead of the square rule when the sides of the timbers are being used as reference.
It's interesting viewing.
