Gluebot Cleaning thereof....

Postby Woodbloke » 13 Sep 2020, 17:09

They're wunderbar n'all that, but like an eejit I've left my Babybot half full of TB3 and unloved for a considerable while. As a consequence, the glue has gone jellyish but not solid, so partially set.
Does the team have any clever ideas for cleaning out the bottles? The said current one is now languishing under a hot tap to try and flush out the partially set glue, so it's probably salvageable

I've found the best way to keep the nozzles clean is to get a whole load of replacements from FleaBay so that when one gums up solid, replace it and use a 1mm drill to then push out the completely solidified glue...works a treat. - Rob

Can't help, Rob, sorry. I use a tub of glue and an artists paint brush. That system never gets gunked up.

Warm water is the way to go.

I've cleaned mine out and put it away somewhere and can't find the festering thing!!
