Thanks Bob; appreciated and good wishes back to your friends. PET scan shows one mass, so there's hope.

Can I also say to the wider readership/forumship: this diagnosis is like nothing else in your life; you seem to be in a different reality to those around you. I don't think this perception comes across clearly enough when such news is shared.

Thank you for the good will everyone. I won't keep hijacking this thread with medical updates, but the op. went fine; the rehab is ongoing and we await pathology to see if chemo is happening. Again, my thanks for the support and wishes. Sam out.
