Duo Fast coil nailer DCN 225/60 leaking air

Here's the place to talk about all your table saws, bandsaws, routers and dust extractors. In fact anything that makes noise and uses electrickery.

Duo Fast coil nailer DCN 225/60 leaking air

Do any of you guys/gals have a Duo Fast pneumatic coil nailer DCN 225/60 . Mine has been on a shelf for 5 years , tried it yesterday and it's spewing out air from somewhere around the trigger , perhaps something inside has perished or dried out ? . Its quite a beast which I used for picnic benches years ago , hardly used much since 2010 when I built my dust extractor shed . I have found an exploded diagram on the net but I wonder anybody might know the likely fault ? . What pitfalls are there if I start taking it apart etc etc , i.e. spring-loaded parts disappearing down the garden . Any help appreciated .

I used to use the big paslodes 75mm coiled nails. It might be just a sticking valve. I remember if they weren't oiled regularly the pistons would stick and air would leak. I know pneumatic tools don't like been stored without a decent oil up before hand. Try putting some oil down it, hydraulic would be better
