Here's the place to talk about all your table saws, bandsaws, routers and dust extractors. In fact anything that makes noise and uses electrickery.

Guys,
Bit of advice if possible if anyone has any recent experience purchasing a mitre saw. I'm going to buy a compound mitre saw for the next part of my shed build and have found one that seems reasonable and not extortionate money. I don't have lots of experience with these things but want something that is user friendly, decent quality and performs most of the functions I may need when installed in my new workshop.
Does this seem a reasonable choice?

I've got the non-sliding version and it is very good.
The slide mechanism has to be perfect to get repeatable mitres though.
It is £11 cheaper at FFX, that is where I got mine.
