De Walt RAS 1251 – Service

Here's the place to talk about all your table saws, bandsaws, routers and dust extractors. In fact anything that makes noise and uses electrickery.

That is definitely backwards.
I had one of those in the old workshop, I never realised that it had a way of adjusting it for square like that. I made a long fence from some aluminium extrusion with a pivot point and an elongated hole and bolt into the table further down. Set that to the blade, then set the outfeed side fence off that. It was a real pain, but stayed put once.
I have an old Wadkin RAS waiting in the barn to go back into service, I can't believe how much I miss is for processing big lumps (or just read I can't believe I still haven't got it set up).

Very embarrassing

Well spotted Dave.

So maybe the old blade is still ok, will check it out.

I can only put this down to not looking at the blade markings when fitting it.

Will definitely mark all the blades "IN" and "OUT".

The alignment was still out which would have just aggravated the problem.
