This might be one for fellow MB flyer Roger S...?
I've had some minor wear, from maybe 4 years ago, on the rubber of the pressurised out-feed roller, but recently it's got much worse!
Originally I thought this was from putting chamfers (using a jig) on glazing beads, so I changed practice. Now I'm wondering if it's from thicknessing 20-35mm boards on their edge?
It's almost as if once the roller has some surface damage it's down hill from there and it starts to disintergrate.
Perhaps it's another cause... maybe I'm being too hard on the machine, and this is general wear as to be expected.... Maybe it's perished (don't think so)... I've not cleaned it with anything (eg. Thinners)
The usual Sedgwick 'special' pricing of £236.95 +vat! and possibly a bit of a PITA to switch out
Thoughts on cause welcome,
Jim
