Buying a sliding mitre saw

Here's the place to talk about all your table saws, bandsaws, routers and dust extractors. In fact anything that makes noise and uses electrickery.

Have decided to go for the Bosch GCM8 SJL with the ~GTA 2600 stand. The package is £350 at aximinster but have found it for £315 at www.rsis.co.uk.

Am going down to my local tool shop today though to see if they can do price match.

Would be interested in peoples thoughts in the stand though?

In my space limited and overcrowded workshop I will be looking for a mobile solution for mine, possibly with fold out extension table wings. :eusa-think:
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers

Perhaps checkout Mirok's homemade systainers. One each side of the Kapex?

I love my Kapex!

I've just done some trenching; so quick and accurate!

The Kapex KS60 depth stop (trenching stop) is unreliable. If, when making the cut you pull down even a little bit hard, then it flexes and you end up cutting 1mm deeper than you planned. If you dont pull down reasonably hard then you end up the other way. I think it's rather poor.
If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.
