Ks120 fettling

Here's the place to talk about all your table saws, bandsaws, routers and dust extractors. In fact anything that makes noise and uses electrickery.

Ks120 fettling

Well i spent a few hours today fettling my ks120 made a couple of cockups see if you can spot them

I dont like the adjustment for vertical zero but the horizontal indents were spot on

Dust collection is really good best ive seen on a mitre saw

Again i find trenching the best ive seen on a mitre saw

Was a proper faf to get the lasers right in the end ive found my zero clearance insert is a better guide

2 things i used peter parfitts measurments for the insert and 7.5 is too thick for the base insert

Also be carefull with the back fence thickness as the supplied clamp is very close to the fence so if you want to use it you will need to make adjustment for that

Love the saw though and the angle guage is brill i did some skirting and i didnt need to fettle it at all Image
