Walnut Hollow form

Postby Dalboy » 10 Jan 2020, 13:47

The first piece completed in 2020. Felt good to be able to start again in the shed after the festive break. I just needed something simple to start the year.

Hollow form from spalted walnut. Quite punky in places but managed to stabilise. Decided to add a lid and final. I think it could be displayed with or without top.
C & C welcome

I like that a lot. The wood is beautiful and I think the finial and lid all bring it together into a style I like very much.
