Walnut Vase

I thought that I had already posted this, anyway here it is.

Made from Walnut and stands 5" tall and 3 1/2" across was meant to be larger but the wood dictated otherwise. Finished with sander sealer and gloss spray acrylic.

Very nice - but is it stable ? The base looks very small...
Cheers !

Oh very nice, I like the grain that you have found in that wood.

Thank you both.

The base is quite wide at 2 3/8" so most of the width, making it very stable the shape makes it very deceptive.

Very nice again.

I'd like to have a go at turning walnut as I have found it lovely wood to use in the past. Alas I only have a few very small pieces left.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers
