Three more Turnings

Postby Dalboy » 17 Jul 2015, 18:17

I managed to get into the shed for a good days turning, well good for me.

1st is a Walnut bowl about 6 1/2" X 2", I found this piece of walnut in my wood pile. Finished with sander sealer and woodwax22.

Very nice work indeed.

(my lathe is parked off at the moment with all the other equipment due to lack of time. I am off tomorrow to Maputo on a new contract for 2 weeks)

Thank you Phil. You must get the lathe out again once you get back and have a good play

Very nice Derek.

Must say the bullet pen kit isn't my favourite but the combination with the camp style blank is really effective. My Dad is ex military and would love something like this, so thanks for sharing and adding something else to my tuit list… :eusa-doh:

:D

I am sorry for not replying earlier, I have no excuse as I always look at Mike's extension build.

Anyway thank you guys. I just turn what either I need for the stall or whatever takes my fancy. I have not done much in the shed lately except make a stand for the stall and now I am sorting out my dust extraction so it is permanent rather than having hoses all over the place.
