It did occur to me that perhaps the bottle stopper would not see much use. I can't image you leaving any bottle half empty. :D

A rare event, I'll grant you! Mind you, we've started opting for half bottles from an excellent vintner called Tanner's. Pay slightly more but get a much better quality wine and reduce the units consumed.
