A little rattled

Postby Dalboy » 04 Jan 2016, 18:08

A couple of keepsake rattles one in Holly wood and the other is Apple wood and both are finished with Chestnut food safe oil. Both have been made so that no part will fit into a 1 1/4" hole. But re-reading all the blurb because the smaller ends are spherical in shape they should be larger so that is why these are being given as Keepsakes and not to be used

They look very nice, the holly looks darker than the bits I have turned. I am guessing you have hollowed them and trapped beads in them to make the sound.
Shame they worked to small to be used.

My tool kit is almost complete, only a few more to get.
