Since I posted the box earlier I decided to make another this time in ash and measures 2 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" across. While turning it I liked the little overhang on the lid so incorporated a shape that I feel happy with.

Thanys very nice. Would be good to see it with the top off. Lovely grain on that.

So many boxes that I have seen seem to require a seamless join betweeb base and lid. I really like the fact that the lid is a fraction larger. Clever.
I do not think therefore I do not am.
