I managed to let the glue up slip ever so slightly which is bugging me no end. But otherwise I am quite pleased.
Comments welcome
It is about 8" diameter.

You're getting a bit dandy at this chap!!

Stunning piece of work!

And I can't see any glue assembly slip-ups.

Very nice Andy. The slip would bug me too but it's only us who would notice it. Great design, love it.

Cheers
Mark

Thanks guys. Missus is very happy too. And when it is full of nuts the slip wont show.

For Paul and Phil here is the glue up slip focused in.

Nope... I still can't see it.

I think I can just about see near the lower end of the walnut insert where the grain of the chestnut is very very slightly not quite in line, but looking again and I can't see it.

Lovely lovely bowl. 8-)

You are too kind Paul. thank you.
If you look at the vertical walnut insert it is not inline with the other side of the horizontal insert. When I glued that top bit on it slipped ever so slightly to the left. Oh, and I was also aiming for a perfect 90degree angle there too

Thanks. As you can see now it is in use it makes all the effort seem like a waste of time. :D

Ah, yes, see it now.

It's out by about a nuts hair, but not enough to get nutty over it. :D

Looks great now in use with the nuts in it.

Indeed, it looks great filled with nuts. That big Toblerone looks very inviting too! Yummy - my favourite! :D

Now you've pointed it out, I see where you are now.

But fear not... "Light bulb moment"... call it your signature mark. ;)

Nice idea Paul. Problem each and every one of my pieces has a different signature. :D
