An Omega pen kit in a home cast blank. I used a chrome kit as the blank has some silver hi lights.

Fair comment Derek

Just because I don't particularly favour it (I don't actively dislike it, just doesn't excite me) doesn't mean I'm right… ;)

Nice pen.
Do they sell at a price that leaves you a decent margin ? I would have thought that the kit cost makes it a bit marginal for the prices you could expect to get.

This topic comes up many times especially on penturning forums. One of the problems is dependant on whether you are Selling as a living or just selling to keep the hobby going. Yes I belong in the second group but I still try to keep my pens at a good price level as to not depreciate those that sell for a living.

So maybe some will see me as being expensive and there are some who say I am too cheap. If I was to increase my prices any more then I would not sell. And if I lower them people say I am selling a cheap product.

I range from £15 for the very cheap slimline up to just under the £100 for the dearest but that is from a kit that is £25 without other bits and pieces which are needed
