Any local turners willing to give a few tips/lessons on the lathe .youtube videos are giving me a good idea and turning some half decent "things" I use this term because they aren't actually items rather just random shapes in wood :mrgreen:

Norm is a non turner, teaching the skill from a non turners point of view !

Do a search for your local wood turning club, I'm sure you'll get lots of offers to help.
