Just finished this one today Measures 5 1/2" X 4" from a piece of spalted beech I found in the wood pile and the centre band is Walnut, Sometimes I wonder what I do have in there must dig it out and have a look.
Finish is a simple sander sealer and a buff on the buffing system.

Hi Derek,

Very nice little box.

BTW I have tidied up your photos. You had uploaded them ok but not placed them into your message so they still had their white surrounds and irregular placement.
