Getting there

Postby Andyp » 04 Dec 2014, 16:18

At last I have something I am happy (ish) with.

This time I glued a large spigot to the base of the blank. When turning the inside I made sure I undercut the rim slightly so I could reverse chuck in the jaws

A large rubber band provided protection

And now a bowl with a nice flat bottom

Just have to work on re-centering when reverse chucking. Oh and make a couple more

Thanks to those who helped on t'other thread. Practice and trail and error helps no end.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers

I made one of these which is handy for when your chuck is too small ;)
