He did a good job on those the one on the right has character which is why I think that is the best in my eyes

I'm new to the this turning malarky but up to now I have been spending ages trying to get the slightest imperfection out of the finished article but like the rest of you the one on the right is my fav too.

Thanks chaps, yes the giant tee light came out really well. I wanted to keep the side of the post to show that the wood had been well used in a previous life but the core still has all of the grace of the oak just waiting to be shown by careful turning.

That is called the learning curve. once learnt you then go for rustic and try to put the tool marks back in :lol: :lol: :lol:
