Woodworking tools

This is where we don't want anything but evidence of your finest wood butchering in all its glorious, and photograph laden glory. Bring your finished products or WIP's, we love them all, so long as there's pictures, and plenty of 'em!

Woodworking tools

Well what did you expect from me.
The great grandson spends so much time in the workshop when he visits and is starting to want more tools so I have started to make a few for him. I made a hammer the other day along with a glue bottle. today I set to and made a plane and square.

Time spent on making all of the bits in the photo about 1 1/2hrs time waiting for glue and finish to dry forever well it always seems like it is.

All of the bits are made from my scrap draw which is a good thing as it always fills quicker than I can use it.

Still have more to make

Clever stuff. I expect that his interest will be heightened with such lovely tools to play with.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

They're great, I particularly like the square.

Practical skills in young people are very undervalued in my opinion so anything that encourages young people to get into producing things is a winner in my book.

Great Job!

That is really a neat idea and good work.

Will surely last longer than the Chinese-crap available as kids toys.

Cheers
