Cutlery drawer divider

This is a really small little item that I knocked together 1 afternoon after work, and I never intended to make a WIP, however I was so impressed with the difference it made v.s. the amount of time and effort it took that I thought let me upload the end result as it may be beneficial to someone.

The basic idea is to lift the plastic cutlery drawer insert off of the bottom of the drawer and hence create a little cubby under it for the items that is not used often (spare washing line, appliance booklets etc.), it would also create better containers for the additional items on the side, and can be further customized should that be necessary.

Basic design is just a T made out of MDF to the dimensions of the drawer and insert. I sprayed the MDF with some left over paint I had lying around, which in the end matched up fairly well with the colour of the plastic insert.

Before: (pretty embarrassing actually  )
