14th Feb xxx

This is where we don't want anything but evidence of your finest wood butchering in all its glorious, and photograph laden glory. Bring your finished products or WIP's, we love them all, so long as there's pictures, and plenty of 'em!

So, I've said before, Wifey and I don't "do" prezzies or cards. But I usually make at least a little something.

14 Feb ... Valentines .. also our Wedding Anniversary ! .. (see what I did there Men  )

This year is apparently Ivory.
Last night just before going to sleep, Wifey asked if I had ordered the elephant ! ???
ehh ?? I said ..

for tuesday .. it's Ivory this year, but that isn't done any more ... she replied

She was joking of course, but it got me thinking ... (yes I always leave it late ! lol ...)
so I just knocked up a new coaster for her Tea cup :-)

Definitely my age and family history. Given the all clear though and just back home. Next check in 5 years. Shame it was under anaesthetic as I don't get to see the process.
Champagne in the fridge from LOML but no alcohol for 24 hours!

Sorry to have messed up you thread.

Ok then. I do remember, Ivor the Engine and his mate Jones the Steam.

I trust you applied a waterproof finish to the coaster to protect it from spills.

and we are "Evans's" (family name).. the chap on the right is Evan Evans :-)

No Coating for in house .. I just run the program again when it wears out/gets grubby . Although she is not using it for tea yet .. has it stood up on display :D

on that note .. I used to tell my customers to keep it indoors and dry and clean... I turn away people who want it for an outside plaque or similar .. but my own experiments .. it's really rugged stuff !
It will "swell" (thickness) .. but never splits or rots . I've had some outside for a few years, and it's twice the thickness it used to be, but apart from that, no change
