Black Boxes

This is where we don't want anything but evidence of your finest wood butchering in all its glorious, and photograph laden glory. Bring your finished products or WIP's, we love them all, so long as there's pictures, and plenty of 'em!

Black Boxes

Postby Woodbloke » 15 Sep 2017, 19:37

A small pair of black boxes, made in Bog Oak, 5,300 years old, each with a lining in Holly from the Stourhead estate and a base in maroon leather. Splines made from Indian Ebony.

Shooting in the mitres for each box on the shooting board.

Each box is about 70mm square and is shown with a 5p piece to give an idea of the size.

With the lids off;

Because SWIMBO dug very deep into her CC, one of these little boxes will sit on top of her Makebloke chest of drawers and the other one is destined to go half way round the world to Japan as a gift for a maiko - Rob

Spending is closely monitored however it's done...if SWIMBO was the Chancellor instead of Philip Hammond, the national debt would be zero by now :D - Rob
