Six Board Chest

This is where we don't want anything but evidence of your finest wood butchering in all its glorious, and photograph laden glory. Bring your finished products or WIP's, we love them all, so long as there's pictures, and plenty of 'em!

Not sure if folks are interested but this simple little project is moving towards completion.
It has a mild Chippendale flavor thanks to the shape of the plinth. I did a dry run first to make a template

Just noticed, how do I add photos

Also, video fail

Graham, Folks certainly will be interested. Thanks for posting.

I must admit to being a confused by the video address that you linked to.

Normally you just to to copy the end of the you tube URL, the bit after the =
like this - a link to your build Part 5
PkGkWXdW-a8

However when I try that with in this case we just get a blank

I am sure someone who i more cleverer than me will be along soon to sort this out.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers

Just had another look at this and the problems appears to be the way that your videos are all linked to a playlist and the embed video button doesn't seem to be able to cope with playlists.

Not sure what the solution is here I'll have to ask the other Mods to have a look see.

Graham, between us I think I understand what has happened.

It looks like you have copied the URL of the video that is on your blog
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkGkWXd ... N6dlbXU0mw

You have then taken everything after the first = and not unreasonable assumed that this should be inserted between the tags . However because that URL actually takes you to a playlist (which cleverly plays one video after another it has failed.

In order to work with the embed youtube tags you have to use only the identity of the single video, which for example in this URL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEZabBs_xuE&list=UUJtvqQCEsQB6jN6dlbXU0mw&index=2

is just the bit highlighted in red ie after the = and before the &list.

and the following will appear

Hope this helps, if not please let me know.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

When I try to watch it says access has been disabled, is the video still there? Not one for technology, so can never tell if there is a real issue or if it is my incompetence!

Maybe Graham has changed a setting in his you tube library. This link should take you to his video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkGkWXd ... N6dlbXU0mw

Otherwise just do a search for him in youtube
