My 75sqm 2 storey treehouse build

This is where we don't want anything but evidence of your finest wood butchering in all its glorious, and photograph laden glory. Bring your finished products or WIP's, we love them all, so long as there's pictures, and plenty of 'em!

Heya Guys and girls,

I heard about this forum through a friend and thought this may interest (and may repulse) some

I'll let the pics do the talking, happy to answer any questions, and always open to suggestions and feedback.

Welcome Keiran. Quite a first post. Is this something you are knocking up in your own back garden? Or do you do this for a living? Makes no difference btw just curious.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

Wow that’s some Tree House, must be quite a job getting the materials there.

Neither to be honest, It's in my garden/woodland, but im using local carpenters and tradesmen to do most of the build, Ill be project managing and getting my hands dirty along the way, when I'm not holding down a full time job and a Mrs thats 9 months pregnant with our first!

Excellent! Nice looking design.

I achieved Planning Permission for a client last year for a 2 bed 2 bathroom, kitchen/ dining/ lounge treehouse (at the third location........storms brought down trees at the first 2 sites). I'm now working my way through the working drawings.

Has yours got screw in piles?

Yes that is certainly a challenge! Building a staircase as we speak which should help.

Sorry, client confidentiality and all that.......

Did you get Building Regs approval for yours? If so, did you have to have a Fire Officer's report?

Oh yes! What a fantastic project!

This is barking mad and very very cool - love it - no pun intended. :eusa-liar: :eusa-whistle:

I've always fancied building a tree house, so I shall watch this build with great enthusiasm.

Looks very exciting.

:text-bravo:
In my previous life, I was a tree.

Look like an interesting enterprise that you are building Keiran. I hope it does well for you.

Very impressive.
