Cherry stain on cherry wood box.

This is where we don't want anything but evidence of your finest wood butchering in all its glorious, and photograph laden glory. Bring your finished products or WIP's, we love them all, so long as there's pictures, and plenty of 'em!

This is my attempt at back to square again.

I've been using mitre joints cut on the Kapex 60. They're about .25 degree out, so I'll try and make a mitre jig for the table saw.

The cherry wood is recycled from the kitchen cupboard doors of our old kitchen. Got lots more, and I'm going to try and make skinnier sides to the next ones.

The stain is from a bottle I bought donkeys years ago to stain a guitar I made in the 90s.

That bloomin' handle on the lid took me about two days on and off to get right, but I like it now.

Red suede on the inside and green baize on the bottom.

This box was sent as a birthday present.

The recipient was inspired to choose a colour scheme for the bedroom from the colour of the box.

That's really nice. The recipient must have been well pleased with that. :text-bravo:

She was. I told her that I had green, blue and yellow boxes, too, if she had any more rooms to decorate! :D
