I'm wanting to contrast/highlight the engraving on chopping boards.

it obviously need to be food safe, and not wash off, or transfer to food when chopping ! lol
I thought about food colouring, but I guess that will leach out when in use ?

For my bamboo worktop I used primer and topcoat 3-4 years ago. We're a bit heavy on the worktop and it's due to be topped up, but otherwise I'd recommend them.

Cheers Malc

the tinters look like the sort of thing, but I need to make sure they are properly chopping board safe.
The closest they come to saying that, is it's saliva resistant, suitable for childrens toys.

I guess I'd need to email them to be sure.
It needs to be written in black and white perfectly unambiguously !
People like to sue these days !
