Wot Snail Mail?

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Wot Snail Mail?

Postby Woodbloke » 18 Aug 2018, 17:06

SWIMBO and I went down to see a very old college pal who's just completed a big project on 1920's cottage in Bognor Regis...think 'Grand Designs'. The place is full of oak 'old skool' door latches, one of which was almost completely broken.

I rescued the latch, and repaired it on Thursday, then took it down to the Post Office on Friday at 4.30pm to send it as a second class parcel.

At 10.30 this morning, Kev rang me to say 'many thanks' and he'd just finished re-installing it on the loo door. Not too shabby from Royal Mail, n'est pas? - Rob
