Pictures from old projects..

Postby Robert » 12 Apr 2015, 14:21

I had a few WIP threads on the long since lost woodhaven 1. Unlike some I didn't keep copies any of the text I wrote to go along with those pictures so any description is long gone.

All the pictures are still on my webspace. is there any interest in having threads here with just the pictures? I'm not going to try and describe what's happening in them and may not even remember on some so it would literally be 50 or whatever amount pictures in each of a few threads.

Hi Robert,

I can't see that it would do any harm and could well provide a bit of inspiration. I could possibly do something similar with a bit of effort fighting the photobucket GUI

Maybe a few words at the head of each topic to set them in context.
You might get the odd question from readers so it might help to give each photo a number if a discussion does ensue.
If you actively don't want to take questions then you could always state that and lock topic.

Some of yours that come to mind.

Dining table & chairs
Extension
Vacuum bag and pump regulator
TS200 enhancements (could have been on UKW??) and router side table.
Sideboard/wall unit - although that has now been modified and written up here.

Cheers

Bob

PS AFAIK, all attempts to contact Tom have failed without even trying to raise the topic of access to the TWH1 database.

Question are no problem it's just that presenting them properly would be too much work and some guesswork.

I number pictures sequentially so posting them is just a matter of copy/paste and change the number.

Just wanted to check if there was any interest first :)

Maybe try doing one project first and see the reaction.

My point about numbering was to have a visible serial number in the topic so questioners and respondents can make unambiguous references to the correct photo.

Robert, post it!

Always good to see what has been made, good for ideas. I also post old stuff.

I write it up in MS-Word and just keep on adding to it and the pics. That way I always have a record.

Cheers

+1. That's also one reason why I also post elsewhere. If the post is on more than one site it's an easy job to cut and paste to another if a site goes down. They all use the same format.

Another request here to resurrect the vacuum bag regulator thread please!
