Your favourite listenings......

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

This lady is gorgeous and her genius is stunningly beautiful.

Always reminds me of driving a Merc through Cumbria on route to Glasgow.

I shall take this thought to bed with me. 8-)

I like Danny Barenboim. Some folk believe he's the closest to Luddy Beethoven for playing kind of Luudy style, but who really knows - that's what I say on the matter. I once felt as if Beethoven's spirit was inhabiting my body. Hmmm yes, this was years ago when I was experiencing many a strange thing. But nonetheless, it was true.

Here's the opening movement to Sonata Pathetique - by Danny Barenboim.

I do recall someone put a bit of Tchaikovsky on here a while ago. Nice indeed. Some 1812 coming up...

I hear that Rick Parfitt has had to hang up his guitar for health reasons, the odd heart attack etc
Some might prefer Neil Diamond, for me there is only one Sweet Caroline

He and Francis Rossi are probably the best double act on the chat show circuit. I hope we have not seen and heard the last of him.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

I can't find a YT version of our song, but it's David Knopfler singing All I Want is You from his album Ship of Dreams.

Some classics in there chaps...Love Queen ...Donald Fagan with Becker is a master class. Anything more resent :D

A favorite listen at the moment is Vulfpeck...I've been a funk and soul bass player for 20 odd years and Joe Dart here, IMHO, is the best I've heard in a lonnnng time.

Their music is quite varied with various guests, I'd say listen to them all, but I would :D

Any better?

Bob
Does not seem to like playlists.
mmm! Seems to work with "XftabV9S2z0" as the address but then the watcher has to select playlist at the end of the first track and it plays the lots.

The Youtube code does seem a bit flaky at times. This morning all the you tube links were broken and blocked, now they are Ok again. I tend to put the full link in my posts just in case.

Then......

...and nowish..

Peter Green with the original Fleetwood Mac, and in the 90s with Splinter Group.

As a bit of a guitar player, I think this track is a masterclass in less is more. I SG live at High Wycombe in the 90s and although his voice is much weaker now, the playing is exquisite.
