Sharp change of temperature

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Sharp change of temperature

Postby chataigner » 07 Oct 2016, 12:34

Just 4 weeks ago I was in Bordeaux with Isabelle (just 2h30 by car from here) and the temperature hit 41°C.
Today I woke up to a temperature of 2°C. :( :(
Happily it looks like that's an exception, the forecast for next week is overnight lows of 8 or 9° and highs of 16 - 18°. Definite autumnal nip in the air though...
Cheers !

Much the same here up north David. For the first time I went outside this morning and it actually felt cold. NE winds don't help. Might have to light the stove later.
I do not think therefore I do not am.

cheers

For the first time in 3 years I couldn't give a damn about the temperature! I've got the external insulated envelope finished, a door on, and all the windows in. That means the old unheated part of the house is now tightly wrapped up, and warming up to the temperature of the rest of the house, which also doesn't leak warmth like it did before. We're going to be properly warm this winter. :eusa-dance:
