LOL...sodium chlorate (NaClO3) decomposes above 300 degrees C and releases oxygen to yield sodium chloride (NaCl). Which is why it is so beloved of bomb makers. I do remember as a kid mixing up sodium chlorate and sugar and lighting it.

Yes I remember that's why the granulated stuff went away.

That said, I'm sure there are ways (maybe don't Google) of increasing potency :lol: :lol:

I've seen a yooutube howto for making it from common bleach .. I may have to try it

Roundup GT Max back on the shelves in some outlets - kind of. Now kept in a locked cabinet so you have to get an assistant to open it up and serve you. No questions asked - Daft.
