Where old planes go to die

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

Yes, some of them are eerie sites with a hint of sadness attached. I've seen a few TV documentaries about aircraft and ship graveyards - eerie places, especially at dusk or dawn or even middle of the night..... :|
In my previous life, I was a tree.

You should check out 'The Boneyard' in Tucson, Arizona. 2,600 acres of old planes.

And there are many more places in the US for commercial planes.

Some are not exactly destined for the scrap merchant but are part of a rolling scheduled maintenance programme that keeps some of them ready to fly within a week.
If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.
