Happy Christmas Everyone

Hang up your Chisels and Plane blades and take a load off with a recently turned goblet of your favourite poison, in the lounge of our Gentlemen's (and ladies) Club.

If only I could find that bag of humbugs I'd share them with you lot!
Ho Ho Ho!
All the best for the festive season and may you get as much workshop time in over the holiday period as you would like!

Happy New Year too!

Happy Christmas all :)

Now pass those humbugs please.

I don't tend to get the xmas spirit willingly. It does however always get forced upon me eventually.

Happy Saturnalia everyone, however you choose to celebrate (or not in some cases :D ) this time of year I hope you have a safe & peaceful time.

Me I finalised a sidetable commission last Wednesday so once the festivities are over & they're sleeping off my food & alcohol I can slip into the workshop & make a start :)

If you had to decide between a diet and a piece of chocolate this christmas, which would you prefer, dark, white or milk chocolate?

Well after the 35c heatwave that we have been experiencing, yesterday was a cool 22c with rain and drizzle and this morning very similar (its cool enough to have to wear a t-shirt). 8-)

Next few days look similar. We desperately need rain as some of the major dams are very low and we also have water restrictions.

Nice and sunny here but only 7C
Yesterday was a drizzle day but a balmy 11C
Our village water supply comes from deep down below us so we never have a water shortage but when droughts do occur we have to have water restrictions too!
They also pump oil from underneath us, though you'd never know it - very discrete nodding donkeys hidden in a wood.
Hope you had a nice Christmas Day?
