How's this for coincidence?

I had a piece of classical music buzzing around in my head. It came from nowhere but from something that I'd clearly listened to in the past. Not enough of a proper theme for me to try and look it up in the Dictionary of Musical Themes. Not played that often, I had a sense.

I rarely dip into Radio 3 these days. Couple that with the vast classical music repertoire. So what are the odds of turning on Radio 3 this morning to hear the self-same piece of music?

Spooky.

Similar has happened to me in the past and Mrs P reckons it's a message from another form. 8-)

I have questioned several times whether there is such a thing called coincidence.

:D Coincidence only exists as a thing because we don't notice when they don't happen. ;)

Ah yes, but how do you actually know that for sure? Do we really not notice them when they don't happen or are they happening more frequently than we realise and we do see all of them but don’t consciously acknowledge them?

Is coincidence just a strange event we all experience through life, or is it a form of communication from a world we cannot comprehend?

I guess the truth is, we don't know.

I had a dream once, when I lived in a terraced house.
I did a refit on the bathroom, and moved the loo over about 1 ft

recalling the dream in the morning, I remembered everything was mirrored !
How bizzar !!
I never did do that refit in that house ...

a couple of years later I decided to get into the house buying and selling, that was all the rage on the telly welly.

A house came up for sale a few doors up , good price, so I bought it and set to work.

It came to the bathroom, took the loo out, made a new hole through the wall .. and the dream came right back .. every other house was a mirror from the one next door.
The dream image was exactly what I was looking at !

Spooky and something I'll never forget :o

Totally OT.

Many years back I went to pickup a bloke from his old house down near Hampton Court. Never been there before and as we had a bit of time spare he gave me a guided tour which included his cellar. Wandering around the cellar I noticed a small circular glass tile in the ceiling.

"Interesting, that," he said. "Lift it up a little and tell me what you see". I did so and remarked that I could see a piano leg.

"OK," he said. "And?"

The penny dropped.

"You haven't got a piano, have you?"

"Nope, that's next doors"

It's all so very fascinating. 8-)

The power of thought could suggest our dreams are the reality of our existence and our existence as we know it is the dream. I had a powerful experience years back when I thought I was somewhere between the two and what confused me was seeing my shadow on the floor before me which moved as I did. :|

He asked me "what's unusual about that tree?" and I replied "it's upside down." He said, "no not that one, that one."

I had an amazing but weird dream last night, dreamt I was eating a giant marshmallow. Woke up pretty shaken, funny thing my pillow was missing.

Here's another one. Just got my new Northumberland library card and six digit PIN. The PIN is the same as the last six digits of the telephone number at our old house
